Michael Bernard Tolbert, a 28-year-old resident of Ocala, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2017, in a shooting incident at the Queens Garden Resort. The incident occurred around midnight when gunfire erupted at the hotel located on South Pine Avenue. Responding officers found Tolbert with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was subsequently transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
