Andre Overstreet, a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 5, 2018, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Overstreet, who was a former restaurant worker, was found unresponsive on the front porch of a house located at 1100 Julia Street. He had suffered a single gunshot wound to the head. Despite being transported to Florida Hospital by emergency services, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
