Joaquin "Guac" Oliver, a 17-year-old Venezuelan-American male, tragically lost his life on February 14, 2018, during the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Born in Venezuela, Joaquin moved to the United States with his family at the age of three and became a U.S. citizen in January 2017.
