Marquel Brooks, a 32-year-old father from Miami, Florida, was tragically killed on September 29, 2018, in a drive-by shooting in the Brownsville area of Northwest Miami. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. when shots were fired from a car, striking Brooks and another man, Joseph Anderson Jr., 23.
