A 60-year-old Black male, Keith Garrett, was found dead in his Northeast Baltimore home on July 12, 2025, in what has been determined to be a homicide. A concerned relative requested a wellness check, leading police to his residence in the 2800 block of Chesterfield Avenue, not far from Lake Montebello. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Garrett unresponsive.
