Demetrius Wrentz, a six-year-old boy from Miami Gardens, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 16, 2019. The incident occurred at his grandmother's house, located in the area of Northwest 212th Street and 27th Court. According to reports, Demetrius somehow gained access to an unsecured, loaded firearm and accidentally shot himself in the head around 9:30 a.m. Despite being airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
