Gerod Rawls, a 25-year-old African American male from Dunnellon, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 20, 2019. The incident occurred during a block party on Northwest 12th Street near Northwest 20th Avenue in Ocala, Florida. The party, attended by a large crowd, turned violent when numerous shots were fired.
