Jose Vargas Cruz, a 39-year-old business owner from Lake Worth Beach, Florida, was tragically shot and killed on August 7, 2019. The incident occurred at his store, Cruz Fashion, located on Lake Avenue. Deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 hang-up call shortly before 5:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Vargas Cruz dead from at least one gunshot wound.
