Tia Pittman, a young African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 31, 2019, in Tampa, Florida. She was found with gunshot wounds alongside her partner, Stanley Peck, at their home on West Walnut Street. The couple had recently welcomed their second child, making the incident even more heart-wrenching. Tia was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries, while Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene.
