Silvio Horta, a 45-year-old Cuban-American male, was found dead in a Miami, Florida hotel room on January 7, 2020. Horta, best known as the creator of the popular television series "Ugly Betty," died by suicide. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that Horta died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His death was ruled a suicide, and no foul play was suspected.
