Drenaya Ponder, an 18-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 6, 2021, in Miami Beach, Florida. The incident occurred while she was visiting South Florida from Atlanta. According to reports, Drenaya was accidentally shot in the face by her sister while they were inside a car. The shooting happened as her sister was handing her a gun, which unintentionally discharged, resulting in Drenaya's death.
