Wintrell Jones, an 18-year-old resident of Ocala, Florida, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2021. The incident occurred at the Northgate Villas apartment complex in northwest Marion County. On that fateful day, the Marion County Sheriff's Office received reports of gunfire around 1 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies found Jones suffering from gunshot wounds.
