Xavier Lewis Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Orlando, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 4, 2021. The incident occurred outside the Mercy Market on Mercy Drive, where Lewis was standing with friends. Just two days after celebrating his birthday, he was shot in a drive-by shooting. The vehicle involved drove by the market and opened fire on the group, hitting Lewis. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
