Joseph Hall, a 64-year-old resident of Merritt Island, Florida, was found dead in his home on June 9, 2022. The Brevard County Sheriff's Office responded to a call from Hall's roommate, who discovered Hall's body upon returning home. The investigation revealed that Hall had been shot during a home invasion. The authorities quickly identified Cory Lyle, a 48-year-old man from Melbourne, as the primary suspect.
