On October 29, 2022, three-year-old Elijah Morales, a young boy from Holiday, FL, tragically lost his life due to an accidental shooting. Elijah, who was with his mother and her boyfriend, Zachary Johnson, at the Holiday Hotel on U.S. 19, was found with a single gunshot wound to the head. According to the investigation, Johnson, a 33-year-old convicted felon, had brought a handgun into the hotel room and placed it on a table.
