On December 19, 2022, Sharry Colon, a 30-year-old resident of Largo, Florida, was tragically found dead in her home at the Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park. The incident was later identified as a murder-suicide. According to the Largo Police Department, Sharry Colon was shot and killed by her boyfriend, 46-year-old Ricardo Ortiz Gomez, while she was asleep in bed.
