Zykiqurio "Zy" Lofton, a 15-year-old from Saint Petersburg, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 29, 2022. Zy was visiting his family for the holidays when he was shot near the Citrus Grove Apartments. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. while Zy was walking in the area of 9th Avenue South and 16th Street South.
