Deputy Constable Juan Orosco was tragically killed on August 25, 1907, in Los Alamitos, California. Orosco, known for his bravery and dedication to law enforcement, was attempting to break up a fight at a local dance hall when the incident occurred. As he followed one of the suspects towards the door, the man suddenly turned and fired a revolver at Orosco, striking him in the chest.
