Donna Eckard, aged 37, was tragically found dead on February 3, 1981, in her home in Mountain Gate, near Redding, California. Her death was part of a gruesome double homicide that also claimed the life of her 14-year-old daughter, Jannell Jarvis. Both victims were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, indicating an execution-style killing. The crime scene revealed that Jannell had also been sexually assaulted, adding a horrific dimension to the already brutal crime.
