On January 28, 1982, Craig Tepel, a 33-year-old resident of Mill Valley, California, tragically lost his life in a violent incident at One Market Plaza in San Francisco. The event unfolded when Ricardo Contawe, a 38-year-old unemployed bellhop, entered the Spear Street Tower of One Market Plaza, carrying a long white box.
