Phyllis Melendez, a 20-year-old resident of Burlingame, California, tragically lost her life on April 28, 1983. Her death was part of a series of brutal murders committed by Anthony "Jack" Sully, a former police officer turned serial killer. Sully's heinous crimes took place in his warehouse in Burlingame, where he lured his victims, many of whom were sex workers, under various pretenses.
