Barbara Lea Searcy, aged 22, tragically lost her life on August 19, 1983, in Burlingame, California. Her death was part of a series of brutal murders committed by Anthony "Jack" Sully, a former Peninsula police officer turned serial killer. Sully, who had served as a police officer from 1966 to 1974, later became an electrical contractor and rented a warehouse in Burlingame. This warehouse became the scene of his heinous crimes.
