Michael Antione Bates, a 46-year-old well-known chef in Baltimore, was shot and killed on September 21, 2016. The incident occurred in front of his home on Pen Lucy Road in Southwest Baltimore. At approximately 2:37 a.m., Baltimore City Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Bates fatally injured.
