Elyas Yakub Abowath, aged 36, tragically lost his life on August 8, 1985, in Diamond Bar, California. Elyas was a victim of the notorious serial killer Richard Ramirez, also known as "The Night Stalker." On that fateful night, Ramirez broke into the Abowath family home located at 21303 Pinehill Lane.
