Michael Player's modus operandi
involved shooting his victims execution-style, often targeting them while they were sleeping. This method of attack created a climate of fear among the homeless population in the area. Player's first known victim was Rudolfo Roque, who was shot on September 4, 1986. Following Roque's murder, Player continued his spree, killing several more individuals, including Sirven.
