Ronald Lewis "Ron" Ruse, aged 28, tragically lost his life on December 14, 1987, in Carlsbad, California. His death was the result of a brutal murder committed by his ex-girlfriend, Linda Ricchio. The two had been in a relationship for several years, but after their breakup, Ricchio's behavior became increasingly obsessive and erratic. She stalked Ron, harassed his family, and even moved into the apartment next to his without his knowledge.
