James Clark Beyea, a 24-year-old police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), tragically lost his life on June 7, 1988. Officer Beyea was on duty in the North Hollywood Division when he responded to a robbery at an electronics store on Lankershim Boulevard.
