Julie McGhee, a 29-year-old woman, was tragically murdered on July 17, 1988, in Cathedral City, California. Her death was part of a series of killings committed by serial killer Andrew Urdiales. According to court records and Urdiales' confession, he picked up McGhee in an area known for prostitution and drove her to a remote construction site in the desert. After engaging in sexual activity, Urdiales ordered McGhee out of his car and then shot her in the head. He later described the scene as "q ...
