Robert Samuels, a 40-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, met a tragic end on December 8, 1988. He was found dead in his Northridge home, having been both bludgeoned and shot. The investigation revealed that Robert was in the midst of a contentious divorce from his wife, Mary Ellen Samuels. Despite multiple attempts to reconcile, their marriage had been deteriorating for three years, leading Robert to pursue a divorce.
