On January 26, 1996, Wendy Cervantes, an 11-year-old girl from Landers, California, tragically lost her life in a horrific incident. Wendy was one of the victims in a shooting spree carried out by Martin Mendoza-Garcia, who was embroiled in a domestic dispute with his estranged wife, Rocio Cervantes-Mendoza.
