Helen Alvarez, a 61-year-old grandmother from Rialto, California, was tragically killed on March 3, 1996. The incident occurred at the Santiago Parkside Estates mobile home park on South Riverside Avenue, where Helen and her daughter, Sonia Alvarez, were returning home after visiting Sonia's boyfriend in Riverside County jail.
