Neal Edwin Abernathy, aged 43, tragically lost his life on February 19, 1997, in Hercules, California. Abernathy, who owned Precision Tune in Pinole, was found dead at his home from gunshot wounds. The incident also claimed the life of his 12-year-old son, Brendan. The discovery was made by Neal's wife, Susan, who returned home to find the unsettling scene.
