Emilio M. "Milo" Gomez, a 67-year-old resident of La Habra, California, was tragically killed on August 8, 1999. Gomez, a plasterer by trade, was known for his love of boxing and had won the Golden Gloves Award at the age of 17. On the day of his death, he left his home to run an errand at a Kmart in the City of Industry but never returned. His wife reported him missing the following day.
