Marsha Marie Doty Jackson, aged 32, tragically lost her life on September 9, 2001, in Sacramento, California. Her death was part of a horrific spree killing carried out by Joseph Ferguson, a 21-year-old security guard. Ferguson's rampage began on September 8, 2001, and lasted for 24 hours, during which he killed five people and wounded two others before taking his own life. Marsha Jackson was one of the victims, along with George Bernardino, Nina Susu, Nikolay Popovich, and John Derek Glimstad.
