On December 24, 2008, Sylvia Ortega Pardo, aged 43, tragically lost her life in what became known as the Covina massacre. This horrific event occurred in Covina, California, when Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, Sylvia's ex-husband, carried out a meticulously planned attack on her family during a Christmas Eve gathering. Dressed in a Santa Claus suit, Bruce Pardo arrived at the home of Sylvia's parents, Joseph and Alicia Ortega, armed with four 9mm semi-automatic handguns and a homemade flamethrower disguis ...
