Pedro Xochipa, a 21-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2009, following a violent incident that occurred during a Fourth of July celebration in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to reports, Xochipa was attending a late-night party on July 4 when an argument broke out. The confrontation escalated, and Xochipa was shot in the head by an unidentified suspect.
