Juan Manuel Parga Jr., a 25-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on November 26, 2010, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 11:09 a.m. in the 1400 block of East Pennsylvania Avenue. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Parga was approached by a suspect in a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee.
