Juan Leon Villa, a 36-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on March 31, 2011, in Wilmington, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Villa was standing on a sidewalk in the 1500 block of Blinn Avenue when two attackers drove by shortly before midnight.
