Henry Serrano, a 56-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on December 16, 2011, in a mass shooting at a Southern California Edison office in Irwindale, California. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when Andre Turner, a 48-year-old coworker, opened fire with a semi-automatic handgun. Turner, who had been employed at Edison for seven years, targeted his colleagues in a deliberate and methodical manner.
