Michael Soto, a 17-year-old from Whittier, California, was tragically shot and killed on March 26, 2012. The incident occurred in the 9100 block of Painter Avenue in South Whittier, near a continuation school. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Soto sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
