Viridiana "Viri" Rodriguez, an 18-year-old resident of Escondido, California, tragically lost her life on April 7, 2012. She was fatally shot in the stomach by her boyfriend, Ruben Cepeda, inside their apartment. At the time of her death, Rodriguez was nearly five months pregnant with a baby boy.
