Jamal Michael Terry, a 25-year-old resident of Alondra Park, California, tragically lost his life on November 2, 2012. According to reports, Terry was standing on the sidewalk near West 147th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard around 9:14 p.m. when an unknown assailant approached and shot him. After being struck, Terry managed to run a short distance before collapsing. Authorities were called to the scene, where he was pronounced dead.
