Erik Peter Ungerman, a 34-year-old resident of Lancaster, California, tragically lost his life on January 19, 2014, in a fatal car-to-car shooting. The incident occurred at a stoplight near the intersection of West Avenue K and 20th Street West. Ungerman was sitting in his vehicle when a gunman pulled alongside and fired multiple rounds into his car. He was struck several times in the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
