Jonathan Villamizar, a 19-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 20, 2014, near South Normandie Avenue and West 3rd Street in Koreatown, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Villamizar and his companion, Alexander Alberto-Rossy Veleche, 24, were in a parking lot driveway around 2 p.m. when they encountered two men.
