David Rivera, an 18-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 21, 2014, near the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard in Inglewood, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 4:01 p.m. when Inglewood police responded to a radio call reporting a shooting victim in the area.
