Irais Acosta Olvera, a 19-year-old Latina, was tragically shot and killed on February 16, 2014, in Pasadena, California. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of North Raymond Avenue, where officers responded to reports of gunfire around 8:50 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Olvera inside a residence with a gunshot wound to the head.
