Damon Leroy Jones, also known as "Lil Scooby," was a 37-year-old man who was tragically shot and killed on March 27, 2014, in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred in the 6800 block of 11th Avenue. Jones, who was wheelchair-bound due to a previous injury, was approached by a man in his mid- to late 30s.
