Irving Serrano

Irving Serrano, a 23-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on May 26, 2014, in Highland Park, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the 3600 block of Pasadena Avenue, inside a local plumbing business where Serrano was working. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Serrano was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:09 p.m. The shooting shocked the community, especially those who knew Serrano personally, as it was an unexpected and devastating event.
