Death by Force

James Wellman, aged 32, was shot and killed on August 12, 2017, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident took place in the 1500 block of Holbrook Street, located in East Baltimore. Police officers responding to the scene found Wellman inside a vehicle, where he had been shot multiple times. Emergency services were called, but Wellman succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His death was one of several homicides that contributed to the ongoing crisis of gun violence that Baltimore faced in 2017.
