Reginald Dewayne Pitts, a 30-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on June 3, 2014, in the Chesterfield Square neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Pitts was visiting with two other men on the 1800 block of West 54th Street shortly before 7:30 p.m. when a black man approached him.
